Bing's Point

Bing’s Point is a remote surf break in Western Sahara, along the Atlantic coast where long stretches of empty desert meet open ocean. It’s known more for its isolation and raw setting than for being an easy, beginner-friendly surf destination.

What it’s like

• Setting: Arid, sparsely inhabited coastline with a very rugged, off-the-grid feel.
• Wave type: Typically an exposed Atlantic point or point-like reef/rock setup depending on the exact takeoff zone and swell direction.
• Conditions: Can produce clean, powerful waves when a good swell lines up, often with long paddling distances and minimal shelter from wind.
• Crowds: Usually very uncrowded because of the remoteness and access challenges.
• Experience level: Better suited to intermediate to advanced surfers who are comfortable with remote spots, rocky entries/exits, and potentially strong currents.
