Efate - Pango Point

Efate – Pango Point, Vanuatu is a reef break on the southern tip of Efate Island, near Port Vila. It’s one of the better-known surf spots in Vanuatu and can offer fun, punchy waves when conditions line up.

What it’s like

Pango Point tends to work best with a solid swell and the right tide. On good days, it can produce clean, peeling rights and occasional lefts depending on the reef and swell direction. Because it breaks over reef, waves can be steep and sectiony, with a more critical takeoff than a beach break.
