Fort Fisher

Fort Fisher, North Carolina is a classic southeast U.S. Atlantic beachbreak located near the mouth of the Cape Fear River, just south of Wilmington. It’s one of the more consistent surf spots in southern North Carolina, offering a stretch of sandy shoreline that picks up a good amount of swell, especially when conditions line up with the outer banks and coastal bathymetry.

• Tide sensitivity: Can be tide-dependent, with quality shifting a lot based on sandbars and tide stage
