El Emir is a well-known urban surf break in Punta del Este, Uruguay, right near the city center and just a short walk from La Barra/Punta’s main beachfront areas. It’s a beach break exposed to the Atlantic, so it picks up swell easily and can produce fun, fast waves when conditions line up.
