Miami Platja, on Spain’s Mediterranean coast in Catalonia, is a small beachbreak / reef-influenced surf area that can offer fun waves when the right swell lines up, but it’s not a consistent heavyweight surf destination.

What to expect

Vibe

The area is more known for holiday beaches, swimming, and family tourism than for surfing, so the surf scene is relatively low-key. When it works, it’s a nice scenic, warm-water Mediterranean session rather than a world-class wave.
