Júcar, Spain (Mediterranean coast) is a relatively lesser-known surf spot, and like much of the Mediterranean, it’s highly swell-dependent and usually works best during winter storm pulses. Mediterranean surf spots like Júcar are usually less crowded than famous Atlantic breaks, but good days can still draw locals quickly because surfable windows are rare. Check sandbars, wind direction, and recent storm activity before heading out.
