Punta Paloma, Andalusia, Spain is a scenic surf spot on the Atlantic side of southern Spain, near Tarifa and the Strait of Gibraltar. It’s known more for its natural beauty and long sandy beach than for being a guaranteed world-class surf destination.

What it’s like

Beach break: Usually a sandy beach break, which can produce fun, mellow waves.
Best with swell: It works best when Atlantic swell reaches the area, especially in the cooler months.
Windy conditions: Like much of Tarifa, wind can be a major factor. Strong Levante or Poniente winds can make the sea choppy, so conditions vary a lot.
