Gyeongpo Beach (Gangneung, South Korea) is one of the better-known surfable beaches on South Korea’s east coast, especially for beginners and intermediate surfers.

Location: Gangneung, Gangwon Province
Exposure: Faces the East Sea, so it gets most of its surf from winter swells and typhoon-generated waves
