Pollock Beach – “The Pipe” (Port Elizabeth / Gqeberha, South Africa)

Pollock Beach is a well-known surf spot on the South East side of Port Elizabeth (now Gqeberha) in the Eastern Cape. The break is nicknamed “The Pipe” because, on the right swell and sand setup, it can produce a fast, hollow, peaky wave that occasionally barrels.
