Cote d’Or Lodge, Praslin, Seychelles is not a surf spot in the classic sense. Praslin is better known for calm, tropical beaches, snorkeling, and diving than for reliable surf. If you’re looking at Cote d’Or Lodge specifically, the nearby water is usually protected and mellow, making it poor for surfboard surfing but pleasant for swimming, stand-up paddleboarding, and beach lounging.

If your goal is surfing, Cote d’Or Lodge is not a top surf destination. If your goal is a beautiful beach stay with calm water and easy ocean access, it’s a great location.
