Grand Anse, La Digue (Seychelles) is one of the island’s most famous surf breaks, known for its powerful, fast, and highly exposed reef-break waves. It sits on the southeast side of La Digue, directly facing the open Indian Ocean, so it picks up plenty of swell.

Grand Anse is set in a dramatic tropical landscape with white sand, granite boulders, and lush greenery.
Even when it’s not surfable, it’s a spectacular beach to visit.
Because it’s exposed, the surf can be heavy and intimidating, but when it lines up, it can be world-class.
