Trois Bassins Peak

Trois Bassins Peak is a well-known surf spot on the west coast of Réunion Island, near the town of Trois-Bassins, just north of Saint-Leu. It’s a reef break with a reputation for producing fast, hollow waves when the conditions line up.

What it’s like

• Wave quality: Can be very good, offering clean barrels and powerful wall sections

Conditions

Trois Bassins Peak tends to fire when there’s a solid Indian Ocean swell and the reef is exposed enough to make the wave stand up with shape. It can be fast and punchy, and on bigger days it gets heavy and challenging.
