Wind-sensitive: offshore or light winds can make it excellent; onshore trade winds can hurt it
Works best when there’s enough swell to organize the beach break, but not so much that it becomes too rough
Tides can change the shape a lot, so the same spot may be excellent at one tide and poor at another
