Ouddorp, Netherlands is one of the best-known surf spots in the country, located on the southwest coast of Goeree-Overflakkee. It faces the North Sea, so it gets consistent swell compared with many other Dutch beaches.

What it’s like

Works best with northwest to west swells
Can handle a variety of wind directions, but offshore or light cross-offshore winds are ideal
Waves are generally small to medium, but it can produce fun, punchy surf when conditions line up

Conditions

Best for: beginners to intermediate surfers, though more experienced surfers enjoy it on better days
