Skeleton Bay

Skeleton Bay in Namibia is one of the world’s most legendary left-hand point breaks. It’s a long, fast, hollow sand-bottom wave that runs along a remote, desert coastline near the town of Swakopmund. The wave is famous for producing extremely long barrels over a shifting sandbank, often with sections that can link for hundreds of meters when conditions are right.

Because of its remoteness and the severity of the wave, it’s not a beginner or even intermediate surf destination—it’s more of a dream wave for highly skilled surfers seeking a heavy, world-class tube ride.
