Tofinho is one of Mozambique’s best-known surf spots, located just south of Tofo, near Inhambane on the country’s south-central coast. It’s a scenic, reef-based point and beach break that tends to work best with consistent Indian Ocean swell and the right tide.

Wave type: Mostly a reef break with some point-style sections, plus a nearby beach break depending on conditions.
Wave quality: Can be very good when it’s on, offering long, fast, and sometimes punchy rights and lefts.
