Tamri

Tamri is a well-known surf spot on Morocco’s Atlantic coast, south of Taghazout and Agadir. It’s famous for being one of the most reliable wave magnets in the area, especially when other nearby beaches are flat or too crowded.

What it’s like

• Wave type: Mostly a beach break with shifting sandbars
• Best for: Intermediate to advanced surfers, though it can offer manageable waves for progressing beginners on smaller days with a coach
• Wave quality: Can be fast, hollow, and powerful, especially on good swells
• Crowds: Often less crowded than the better-known Taghazout area spots, but it’s popular when the swell is working
