Boilers, Morocco (South) is one of the better-known right-hand point breaks on Morocco’s southern Atlantic coast, tucked into a remote desert-meets-ocean landscape. It’s a powerful, mostly right-breaking wave that runs along a rocky point, offering long, fast walls when the swell lines up. The setting is part of its appeal: wide-open coastline, sparse development, and a raw, windswept feel.

What it’s like

• Best for: Intermediate to advanced surfers, especially those comfortable with takeoff commitment and some local knowledge
• Wave quality: Can be excellent on the right swell, with long rides and sections for carving and speed

Conditions

• Swell: Works best with a solid west to northwest Atlantic swell
• Wind: Offshore or light easterly winds are ideal; strong wind can quickly reduce quality
