Sablettes Beach is a sandy beach break in north Morocco, known for its easy access and mellow setup. It typically offers fun, playful waves on smaller swells and can pick up more power when the surf gets bigger. The waves are usually best for beginner to intermediate surfers, with manageable takeoff zones and enough room to spread out along the beach.

The spot is generally most consistent on NW to N swells with suitable offshore winds, often from the east/southeast, depending on the local weather pattern. Because it’s a beach break, the sandbars can shift, so conditions may change from day to day. On the right swell, it can produce clean, rideable peaks, though it may also get choppy or disorganized when winds are unfavorable.

Best for: beginners, intermediates, longboarders on smaller days
Wave type: beach break
Bottom: sand
Hazards: shifting sandbars, crowds at times, variable conditions
