Las Barras de Piaxtla

Las Barras de Piaxtla is a remote surf area on Mexico’s Pacific coast, in Sinaloa, near the border region with Nayarit. It’s not one of Mexico’s most famous surf destinations, but it’s known among travelers for its long, uncrowded stretches of beach and river-mouth sandbars that can produce surfable waves when conditions line up.
