alisitos

Alisitos is a well-known surf break on the northern Baja California coast in Mexico, south of the U.S. border and not far from Rosarito/Ensenada. It’s one of those classic Baja beachbreak points where conditions can change fast, but when it’s on, it can deliver fun, fast, punchy waves.

What it’s like

• Type of break: Mostly a beachbreak with shifting sandbars.
• Wave character: Often fast, hollow, and powerful when a solid northwest swell lines up.
• Best conditions: Typically works best with NW swell and light offshore winds from the east or northeast.
• Crowds: Can get busy, especially on weekends and during good swell windows, since it’s accessible and well known.
