Rivière des Galets

Rivière des Galets is a well-known surf spot on the southwest coast of Mauritius, near Tamarin / Black River. It’s generally regarded as one of the island’s more consistent and challenging waves, especially when a solid swell rolls in.

• Early morning is often best for cleaner conditions before trade winds pick up.
