Cokes

Cokes (Coke’s) is a classic Maldives surf spot known for its fast, powerful right-hander and beautiful reef setting. It sits in the North Malé Atoll area, not far from the famous surf zone around Thulusdhoo. The wave breaks over a shallow coral reef and is best suited to experienced surfers because of its speed, hollow sections, and the consequences of a mistake on the reef.

Cokes works best with south to southwest swells and typically likes northeast trades offshore, which are common in the main surf season in the Maldives. It can handle a decent amount of size and often produces long, workable walls with sections that can barrel.
