Beacons, Maldives is a classic Indian Ocean reef pass surf spot known for its long, fast, tropical reef waves and beautiful blue-water setting. It’s part of the well-known surf zone around the North Malé Atoll, where exposed reef breaks can light up with consistent southwest swells during the main surf season.

• Skill level: Intermediate to advanced, especially when it’s bigger or more hollow
