Forte dei Marmi’s pontile area is a classic Tyrrhenian Sea beachbreak on the Tuscan coast, set near the famous pier in one of Italy’s more upscale seaside towns. The spot tends to be more of a summer swell-check than a guaranteed surf machine, but when the Mediterranean sends enough energy, it can produce rideable peaks over sand.
