Ramin

Ramin is a surf spot on the Makran Coast of southeastern Iran, along the Gulf of Oman near the city of Chabahar in Sistan and Baluchestan Province. It’s one of the better-known surf areas in Iran because this coastline receives consistent swell from the Indian Ocean, especially during the cooler season.

What it’s like

• Wave type: Mostly beach break, with some stretches that can shape up into clean, fun peaks.
• Best conditions: Typically works best on a medium to mid-size swell with offshore or light winds.
• Season: The main surf season is generally autumn through spring, when the wind is calmer and conditions are more favorable.
• Skill level: Can suit beginners to intermediate surfers on smaller days, while larger swells can make it more challenging.
