Green Bush

Green Bush is a well-known surf break in the Mentawai Islands, Indonesia, part of one of the world’s most famous wave systems. It’s a fast, powerful left-hand reef break that works best on south to southwest swells and tends to offer clean, barreling waves when the conditions line up.

Caution

As with most Mentawai reef breaks, Green Bush can be shallow and unforgiving, so local knowledge, proper reef booties if needed, and solid wave-reading skills are important.
