Dreamland

Dreamland, Bali is a well-known surf spot on the Bukit Peninsula, near Uluwatu in southern Bali. It’s a scenic beach break with a classic tropical setting: white sand, limestone cliffs, and clear blue water. The wave is generally more forgiving than some of Bali’s heavier reef breaks, which makes it popular with intermediate surfers, though it can still get powerful when swell increases.

What to expect

Dreamland can deliver playful, rideable waves, especially on moderate swells. Because it’s a sand-bottom break, it’s often more approachable than Bali’s reef breaks, but the sandbars can shift, so the wave shape changes over time. On bigger surf, it can become punchy and crowded.

Best time to surf

• Dry season (April to October): Typically the best conditions, with cleaner surf and offshore winds
• Wet season: Can still work, but conditions are less consistent

Vibe

The beach itself is beautiful and can get busy, with a mix of surfers, swimmers, and tourists. It’s one of the more accessible surf beaches in the Bukit area and is often included in Bali surf trips.
