Ceningan Point

Ceningan Point is a fun, scenic reef break on Nusa Ceningan, the small island between Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Penida near Bali, Indonesia.

What it feels like

Ceningan Point is known for longer walls, sections that open up for carving, and occasional barrels when conditions line up. It’s usually less crowded than some of Bali’s more famous waves, but it can still draw locals and traveling surfers when it’s on.

The setting is a big part of the appeal: turquoise water, reef passes, and views across the channel make it a beautiful place to surf. Because it’s on a reef and can be exposed, it’s important to watch the takeoff zone and current before paddling out.
