La Terriere

La Terrière is a beachbreak surf spot on the Atlantic coast of France in Vendée, just north of La Tranche-sur-Mer. It’s known for its long sandy beach, open exposure to swell, and a fairly exposed setup that can pick up plenty of Atlantic energy.

• Tide: Tidal behavior matters a lot on beachbreaks here; many sections improve around mid tide, but this can vary with sand movement
• Wave character: Can produce fast, hollow sections at times, but is often more of a fun, rippable beachbreak
