Dielette Shore Break

Dielette Shore Break is a beachbreak in Normandy, France, near the port of Flamanville / Diélette on the Channel coast. It’s a fairly exposed surf spot that can pick up swell when conditions line up, especially during autumn and winter.

What it’s like

• Type: Shorebreak / beachbreak
• Wave quality: Can be punchy and fun, but often quite unpredictable
• Best with: A solid northwest to west swell and favorable wind
• Wave behavior: Short, steep waves that can break close to shore, sometimes fast and hollow

Conditions

• Tide: Usually tide-sensitive, with the best shape often around mid tide depending on sand movement
