Les Ayguades

Les Ayguades is a beachbreak surf spot on the Mediterranean coast of France, near Gruissan / Narbonne-Plage in the Aude department. It’s a sandy, open stretch of coast that can catch swells during the right conditions, especially when the tramontane or passing low-pressure systems generate enough energy in the Mediterranean.

What it’s like

• Wave quality: Can be fun and punchy, but generally inconsistent compared with Atlantic France
