Overview

Cannes l’Aérospatiale is a Mediterranean surf spot near Cannes, on the French Riviera. Like many spots on the Côte d’Azur, it’s more of a wind- and swell-sensitive beachbreak/reef-coast wave spot than a guaranteed surf destination. Conditions can be quite fickle, but when the right storm systems or local winds line up, it can produce rideable waves.

Suitable for

• Intermediate surfers when conditions are clean and manageable
• Beginners only on smaller, softer days
• Not usually a highly consistent “every day” wave spot

• Spring can also work
• Summer is often small and weak, though occasional wind swell can appear
