Côte sauvage - la pointe espagnole

Côte sauvage – La Pointe Espagnole is a wild, scenic surf spot on the Atlantic coast of Charente-Maritime, near La Tremblade / Ronce-les-Bains on the Côte Sauvage of the Île d’Oléron peninsula side. It’s known for its exposed beachbreak and powerful Atlantic swell, set in a beautiful stretch of dunes, pine forest, and rugged coastline.

• Wave type: Mostly a sandy beachbreak
• Best for: Surfing, bodyboarding; can also be good for more experienced surfers when the surf gets bigger
