Les Crevettes Ste Barbe

Les Crevettes, Sainte-Barbe (South Brittany, France) is a relatively exposed Atlantic beach break on the south coast of Brittany, near the Pointe de Sainte-Barbe area. It’s one of those classic French coastline spots that can produce very fun waves when the right swell lines up, but it’s also heavily dependent on conditions.

What it’s like

• Wave type: Mostly beach break, occasionally with small shifting peaks.
• Best on: Swells with some size and a good west to northwest component, depending on sand movement.
• Wind: Typically prefers offshore or light offshore winds; strong onshore winds can quickly make it messy.
• Wave quality: Can be fun and punchy, but generally less consistent than more famous Breton point or reef spots.
