Les deux jumeaux

Les Deux Jumeaux is a classic Basque Coast surf spot near Hendaye, right on the French–Spanish border in southwestern France.

What it’s like

• Type of wave: Mostly a beach break / sandbank setup, with shifting peaks depending on sand movement.
• Wave quality: Can be fun and fairly user-friendly, especially compared with heavier nearby reef breaks.
• Best conditions: Usually works best with a solid NW to W swell and light offshore winds from the east or northeast.
