Hendaye

Hendaye is one of the most beginner-friendly surf spots in the French Basque Country, right on the border with Spain near the mouth of the Bidasoa River. It’s a long, sandy beach break with a wide, open bay that usually creates mellow, forgiving waves compared with many other spots in the region.
