Atacames, Ecuador is one of the better-known surf towns on Ecuador’s northern coast, in Esmeraldas Province along the Pacific Ocean. It’s a laid-back beach destination with warm water, sandy shoreline, and a tropical vibe, making it popular with both local surfers and visitors.
