What it’s like to surf

Playa de la Cantería can produce good-quality, fast waves with a fairly heavy feel. Because the area is exposed and the seabed is mixed, conditions can change quickly. On a good day, it can be one of the more exciting spots in northern Lanzarote, but it can also be strong, bumpy, and unforgiving.
