Morro Negro

Morro Negro (Lanzarote, Canary Islands) is a well-known volcanic reef surf spot on the north coast of Lanzarote, famous for its powerful, hollow waves and rugged black-lava setting.

Conditions

Morro Negro works best with N to NW swells and is most consistent during the winter months when Atlantic systems bring stronger surf. It can produce excellent tube waves on the right tide and swell direction, but the spot is unforgiving due to the shallow reef and heavy waves.

Atmosphere
