Majanicho

Majanicho is a small, rugged surf zone on the northwest coast of Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands, near the fishing hamlet of the same name. It’s known for its raw Atlantic exposure, volcanic landscape, and a mix of reef and point-style waves depending on the swell and tide.

What it’s like

• Wave quality: Can be very good when a solid NW swell hits, with clean, powerful right-hand waves being the main draw.
• Consistency: Best in the winter season when Atlantic swells are more frequent.
• Conditions: Often works best with a lower to mid tide, but local knowledge matters a lot because the reef can be tricky.
