Hansons is a West Coast Canada surf spot known for its cold-water, exposed-point-break feel and Pacific Northwest atmosphere. Depending on swell direction and local bathymetry, it can offer long, clean rides with a powerful, sometimes punchy takeoff. Like many Vancouver Island and coastal BC breaks, it works best on the right combination of swell, wind, and tide, and can be highly fickle.
