Wave conditions

• Swell exposure: Atlantic swell can deliver solid, powerful surf, especially in fall and winter
• Best size: Small to mid-size swells may be most manageable; bigger storms can make it heavy and less predictable
• Wave quality: Can offer clean, punchy waves when wind and swell line up, but conditions may change fast
• Wind sensitivity: Like much of the East Coast, it tends to prefer offshore or light winds; strong onshore winds can quickly wreck the session

Bottom and hazards
