Laje do Jacques is one of the more powerful and heavy surf spots on the north coast of Santa Catarina, Brazil, near Balneário Camboriú / Itajaí. It’s a reef-break known for producing fast, hollow waves when the right swell lines up.

What to expect

The wave can be very consistent during the right swell window, but it’s not usually a beginner-friendly location.
