Santinho

Santinho is a well-known surf spot on the northeast coast of Florianópolis, in Santa Catarina, southern Brazil. It’s set beside a beautiful stretch of sand near Praia do Santinho, with a scenic backdrop of rocky headlands, dunes, and Atlantic Forest-covered hills.

Conditions

• Autumn and winter usually bring the most consistent and powerful swell.

Atmosphere

Santinho is less urban than some of Florianópolis’ more famous surf areas, which gives it a more natural, relaxed feel. It’s a good spot if you want a mix of solid surf and scenic surroundings.
