Ellensbrook is a tucked-away surf spot on the Margaret River North coast in Western Australia, near the Ellensbrook/Milkshake area between Yallingup and Gracetown.

What it’s like

• Type: Exposed reef/point-style break with a reefy setup and powerful Indian Ocean energy.
• Wave quality: Can be very good when it lines up, offering long walls and fast sections.
• Best on: Typically prefers a solid W to SW swell with clean east to offshore winds.
