Granites

Granites, Nullarbor, South Australia is a remote, powerful reef/point-style surf break on the exposed west coast of the Eyre Peninsula/Nullarbor edge, known for its clean, high-performance waves when the swell and wind line up.

What it’s like

• Wave type: Fast, punchy reef break with a hollow, sometimes barrel-prone face.
• Best conditions: Strong Southern Ocean swell with light northerly/offshore winds.
• Wave quality: Can be excellent, with long walls and sections for turns or tubes depending on sand and swell direction.
• Crowds: Usually very uncrowded due to its remoteness.
