Suckrock

Suckrock (Sydney South, NSW, Australia) is a local surf break on the south side of Sydney, known for its rocky setup, fast waves, and punchy conditions when the swell lines up. It’s generally considered more of a solid, experienced surfer’s wave than a mellow beginner spot.

What it’s like

• Tide: Often better on a mid tide, but this can vary a lot
• Swell: South to southeast swell is usually a good direction for Sydney South reefy spots
• Wind: West or northwest winds are typically cleaner than onshore easterlies
