Turrimetta is a small, exposed beach and reef surf spot on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, north of Narrabeen and south of Bungan. It’s known for being a scenic but fickle wave that can produce quality surf when the sand and swell line up.

What it’s like

Turrimetta can offer fast, hollow sections and powerful peaks. Because it’s relatively open to swell and can be affected by sand changes, conditions can vary a lot from day to day. When it’s on, it tends to be a high-quality, less-crowded Northern Beaches option compared with more famous nearby breaks.
