Warilla Beach is a long, open stretch of sand on the NSW South Coast, near Shellharbour, that offers a classic exposed beachbreak surf setup. It’s known for being easily accessible, fairly spacious, and able to produce peaky, rippable waves when the sandbanks line up.

Warilla Beach often has a more local beachbreak feel than a point or reef setup. On a good day it can offer clean A-frames and short, punchy rides, especially for surfers who like working the sandbanks. Because it’s exposed, conditions can change quickly and it’s usually best after a few days of swell with offshore winds.
